Brown Friday

For some fun, I've been reading through Language Log's various posts skewering Dan Brown, in which Brown is described as one of the worst prose stylists in the history of literature (with numerous examples). The criticisms seem ultimately to question how such pulply trash had become the most widely read book in the English-speaking world (...at least four people [in the world] have not read it. I just wish one of them was me). Some of the quotes from the book are classic.
